Temporary Speed Restriction Oxspring - Roughbirchworth Lane and Surrounding Roads

BARNSLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

TEMPORARY ROUGHBIRCHWORTH LANE, OXSPRING/LONG LANE, PENISTONE/PARK LANE/OXSPRING/ BACK LANE, SNOWDEN HILL

40MPH/30MPH SPEED LIMIT

An order will be made to introduce the following:

  • A 30mph speed limit on Roughbirchworth Lane between Westwinds and Long Lane
  • A 30mph speed limit on Long Lane between Roughbirchworth Lane and Tanyard Farm
  • A 40mph speed limit on Long Lane between Tanyard Farm and a point 40 metres north west of the junction with Cross Lane
  • A 30mph speed limit on Park Lane between Roughbirchworth Lane and Cross Lane
  • A 40mph speed limit  on Back Lane for a distance of 200 metres in a south westerly direction from the junction with Cross Lane

from 8 July 2019 for approximately two weeks.
