The council operates 3 facilties in the Parish area. For more information and to find out how to rent an allotment visit the allotments page.
This is the area of land incorporating the West Crescent Allotments and behind.
Accessed via the footpath before the bridge over Sheffield Road.
The PC land follows the footpath all the way round the back of the allotments, including the "meadow land" behind the allotments and the footpath that goes down to the trans pennine trail.
The Parish Council owns the piece of land on Sheffield Road opposite the school, and it has recently been made into a memorial garden in memory of the late Gordon Wood, (who owned the former garage on this site). A seat and stone carving have recently been placed here, and work is still ongoing. A wild flower garden and new tree will be planted soon. This garden is for all to use.
St Aidan's Church
St Aidan's was built in 1961 to serve the Christian Community in Oxspring as a centre for worship. St Aidan's continues to offer worship on 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 9am. In addition, the building can be hired for events, and is used for Brownies, The Good Companions, and other organisations.
