Barnsley Local Plan

As discussed at the Parish Council meeting on the 5th February, we plan to hold a meeting for residents of Oxspring to discuss matters surrounding the proposal by BMBC to erect 66 dwellings on site EC6 and to safeguard land identified as site EC7.

As advised at their last meeting the Parish Council will be objecting to this proposed development, and any resident who would also like to object will be supported to make their feelings known by the deadline date of 12th March 2018. We will hopefully be providing valid planning reasons for you to use, and any resident who needs help with submitting their objections will be supported.

Please come along and talk to us. The more objections we can make the stronger the case we have for getting this proposal overruled.

Objections to the proposed development sites in Oxspring must be submitted by the 12th March 2018
either via the link on Barnsley Councils website:

Or by email to
Or by post to The Programme Officer c/o Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, PO Box 634, Barnsley, South Yorkshire, S70 9GG
